?s about mixing string materials, suggestions

some background info first.

i have an sx jazz, with a MIM jazz neck, wired with a push pull for series/parallel switching. i play mostly rock/metal/stoner/experimental stuff. im going to be tuning to either bead, or a half step higher at cfa#d#. havent decided yet, leaning towards bead, but will stick with one tuning once i do. i dont do much slapping or popping, although i do mess with it a little for different sound textures. i also switch between fingerstyle and using a pick.

its currently strung with the top 4 strings from a set of DR SS lo-riders 5 string set, 130 105 85 65, tuned bead.

negatives - these strings are pretty dang rough on the fingers, and have a decent amount of finger noise. also tension is really un-balanced, the 130 comes in at 34.5 lbs, while the 65 is 51.3, according to the Daddario chart.

positives - harmonics are really good, very clear tones, thats about it

so to the meat of the question. im looking at fenders 7150 pure nickels, but they dont offer the 130 i need to get proper tension, only a 125, which is a little light for a b for me. fenders website says they make them, but no where ive looked has them for sale.

now they do make a 130 in there nickel plated steel string, but how will that one "off" string sound against the other pure nickel strings?

also, any other suggestions for strings would be greatly appreciated. another brand or something that has a variety of sizes to choose from? i looked into ken smith burners and compressors, but he only offers his in winding lengths of 38", which on my bass, is too long. tunings a little sketchy when you have 1" of 130 gauged winding on the tuner post.

sorry for the long post, just wanted to be specific. any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated
