S.I.T. winding length?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking of putting a set of S.I.T. Silencers on my 35" 5-string. I need the winding length to be at least 37" long in order to work. Does anyone here know how long the winding length on S.I.T. long scale bass strings are?

I kinda wanna say that the regular SITs are about 36" of winding, which is the appropriate length for a 35" scale 4 string of mine with a Kahler. I believe the super longs are about 37". D'Addario and Ken Smith make some long ones, too.

Thanks! I'll probably have to go with a Ken Smith string because I'm pretty sure they're 38" and I want to go through the bridge. I need 37" just to clear the nut if I top load my strings!
