sadowsky blue label strings help!

Sign in to disble this ad
hy there!

i just bought a new set of Blue Labels nickel 5 strings for my uncle's Ibanez RDG 705 and when i was tunning it, the G string Snaped before it was in tune!!! the bad thing is that it snaped right before the tuning key ( 3mm or so ) so i can't do anything with it.

my uncle payed me to do it and setup the bass and now i am in a kind of bad situation.i can't find ANYWHERE single sadowky strings and i am a very poor guy to buy a new set of them (i can't tell my uncle to pay me more for a new set...)

anyone can help meż? i really don't know how.if i had money i would have ordered a new one, but i am in a bad situation: my dad kicked me out of the house and now i live with my brother and we have only his sallary (barrely 1000$) wich isn't enough for us to survive...

but that's another story.

another question, are the sadowsky's high tension strings? i find them to have pretty high tension (higher than the Diamond series SS fodera i have on my Squier)...

or could it be because of the string retainer? i believe it makes kind of "hardcore" tension after the nut...

any help would be apreciated!

anyone that has a G string laying around.... or something.

thank you guys!!!
