Thumbs up Sadowsky Flats....YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I am just so knocked out by these strings I had to post another rave for Sadowsky flats.

I have them on 5 of my basses including active and passive Ps and Js, both 4 and 5ers.

Huge sound with definition and punch. I am a fingerstyle player so I cannot vouch for a slap tone. Also, really nice string to string balance and a killer B on both my Fender P and J American Deluxe.

Also, customer service is second to none!! I broke an E while installing (my bad, don't ask), and Kevin shot me one out the next day. Simply amazing!!

Don't just sit there reading this, go order a set and see for yourself!!!

I would say not quite as bright with more defined mids, if that makes any sense.

Better string to string consistancy in tone and volume. I find that I don't have to have as much difference in pickup height.

I've been touting these around for years!

Amazing modern take on traditional flats. Extremely versatile, too.

+1, I have them on one of my Sadowskys and they are the best I've tried. I just ordered an spare set but I'm not going to change 'em until one of the strings break.

By the way. The slap sound/feel on them is also great. Not the modern slap tone but something like early Larry Graham.
