I'm looking for a really tight B string on my toby pro 5'er. I just ordered a set of sadowsky hex core 130's stainless steel but now i'm wondering if i made the right move. i used to use dr high beam hex cores but wanted to try something different. will i be happy with my purchase or will i regret what i did? i think i can still cancel my order since i just ordered it. let me know what you think.
You made the right call. That and the LaBella HRS are the best low Bs on the market.
Set your action so you have very low relief and the saddle set to taste. Drop the relief until the 1st fret buzzes then bring it back just enough to cure the buzz.
