Sadowsky or Lakland Flats?

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, I just picked up a Lakland Skyline Joe Osborne 5. My first 5 string, but that's another story. I mainly play Ric's with Pyramid Gold flats. Has anyone compared the Lakland JO Flats to the Sadowsky Flats. I know GHS makes the Jo's, and I heard Labella makes the Sadowsky's. The JO's are 35 bucks, and the Sadowsky's are 50. I pay over 50 bucks for the Pyramids, so thats not an issue, but are the Sadowsky's that much better then the JO flats. I would like to hear some comparisons or even just your experiences with each brand, thanks.

I've played the 4 string sets of both and found them simmilar, giving the overall edge to the sadowskys. Both are nice, warm, strings with moderate tension (simmilar to a .45-.105 roundwound set) and a decent amount of sustain.
