If you like low tension, a middy and punchy sound...the TI would work for you...the sadowsky I haven't tried, but should be a bit more traditional with deep bottom and somewhat scooped mids, great highs...

If you've never tried the TI flats before you should really give them a shot. To me they are the end of my tone quest. I love everything about them. I had the D'addario Chrome flats on my bass before but I thought they were way too bright and they never mellowed out. I want smoothness with no zing.

Be warned though, they're pretty damn zingy when you first put them on but after 2-4 weeks when they mellow out no other string sounds as smooth or as musical to my ears.

I too love "Almost" everything about them. My only complaint is the lower tension slows fast plucking down unless you play near the bridge. They are a very good string choice though.
