in search of bass string help

My hand qets quite sweaty fast. i need some string info. like what kind of strings should i use. i use rotosound swing 66.

i play a 4 string Peavey bxp millennium.

You're not really gonna change the problem with different strings. I would carry a bandana with you to dry your hands between songs, but I know what you mean. I have the same problem. I carry a bandana with me, and change strings often.

Have you ever tried putting some cream on your hands? Rubbing in ordinary white vaseline might help because it creates a thin layer.

Don't just wipe your hands often, but also your strings with a lint-free cotton cloth (old cotton that's been in the laundry machine many times).

You could also try coated strings, like Elixir.

They are all coated. Gauge, scale etc. is up to you.
