I've bought a new set of DR Long Life ( I'll give em a shot ) strings on the weekend and again 2 A strings and no D string in the package twice in one year what are the odds on that.

Thats hard to believe, I have never had a problem with the consistency of DR's.

Maybe it was an error in a batch of strings?

Have only had happy experiences with DR. i have 5 sets of DR Hibeams in my dehumidifier in case of nuclear winter.

That was beautiful Anthony, beacause of the attention to talkbass and your note I are a life time user of DR's from now on. No need to send a set The retailer exchanged the strings no mess no fuss at all. Actually we had a chuckle about it and chalked it up to automation. And by the way the best strings I've ever used to boot. Cheers from snowy Calgary.
