"Selective Harmonic Balance"

Sign in to disble this ad
That's the way the advertisement read when I purchased a recent set of Rotosound RS885LD (black nylons).
What the heck is the "selective" part? Is there a switch or pot to select your harmonics?
I know you can play with the bridge to effect harmonics, but what is so different with these that Roto wants to make them sound superior?
And, anyone else tried them? ARE they tapered?
I hope they fit my nut since the "G" is a 65!!
They are destined for my Kelly Dragonfly 5.

Just marketing I wouldn't get too caught up into it.

If they work for you keep 'em, if they don't find something that does.
