Short Scale Flats for Fender Mustang

Anyone with experience with various short scale flat wounds & a Fender Mustang?

To me, shortys sound best with flats. I have one of those Bronco things(in the ballpark of the Mustang--cheap seats, with lots of "polish") and have tried the GHS, Fender, and now the Rotos on it. I think I like the rotos best. They have a cool "woody" overtone I'm liking so far. I went straight to Rotos on My Rocket and, well, being what it is, they have certainly helped in the "polishing" process.
