Short scale flats/nylons..

Whats the deal...

There's none of the 7-8 stores that are specialized in bass gear in Paris who can provide short scale flats, or even more difficult then, short scale nylon flats (some of them usually had short flats but where out of stock, but nylons, none) ..

Are short scale axe's really that odd?

Yeah, they do, but it's flat rate shipping cost, $40 overseas, which means I have to buy a s--tload not to totally get bankrupt on the unit price ...
