Should I buy a set of Chromes?

So my local music store has a 5 string set of chromes...

...should I get them as a backup for my TruBass88's

I understand that it'll be totally different, but what should I expect with a set of chromes?

it depends. chromes have a mellow sound, but they still have some high end, so they don't sound as bassy as la bellas. but, i think that they sound and feel great! i use em on my p bass, and it really has a nice, smooth response. i'd recommend them!
