I don't have a picture, but I think I know someone who might.

I don't have a picture, but I think I know someone who might. | They should have silk on both sides?
But yes silver balls...
I will double check myself... |

I will double check myself... | I am positive they only have silk on one end. I just installed a set on a bass a day or two ago. I'll check when I get home from work.

Why do I ever doubt you?

I didn't want to say unless I double checked because I have to always look into things :-)

| | | sorry if i'm hijacking a bit here, but i figured this was the place to ask this. My 70's PBass came with these strings on it, the original owner can't remember what they are. They have a turquoise silk wrap at the ball and nothing at the tuners, the ball end is also seemingly machined as well. If anyone recognizes them it would be a great help, i loved these strings!
PS the sizes i got with my digital calipers was as follows:
E .095
A .081
D .067
G .050 |

| | | | Hi all! New here.
I have some strings on a bass that was given to me. The ball end windings are red, yet the windings at the tuning pegs are blue. Used lots of different strings over the last 20 years of playing, but have never come across these before. Any ideas?

| | | Thanks, guys!
The strings feel great. Any thoughts on them as I'm not familiar with them?
I'm so outta the loop with all things bass these days.
Just picked up the bass again after a long hiatus. It's been a good 5-6 years since I last played a gig with a bass since switching to vocals. Played a set for a friends Birthday, I took bass and vocal duties for 4 Thin Lizzy numbers! Was great Just getting back into it now as I'm starting a three piece Blues based band, have a guitarist, but looking for a drummer.

They are a bit rough feeling and sound great. My first guess was Fenders, but i thought they just had the slik on one end. These have multicolred ball ends as well. Thanks. |
