Similar to Chromes

I tried Chromes and they're definitely the best strings I've tried yet. But they're still not the ones. I think I need a different flavor that's still similar to Chromes. I'm not really sure what direction I want to take now but I'm thinking to stay in the flats and ground wounds area. I'm open to any suggestions and I've been looking at the SIT power flats which seem pretty cool. Any input on them would be great.

Love me some Fender 9050's. Similar to Chromes, yet not Chromes...

I've decided the Fenders are worth a try since they're cheap. I've read threads about the Fenders being higher tension so would the light set be close to the tension of medium Chromes?
