Single new string

So somehow I ended up breaking my d string and so i had to replace it. I hate the sound of new strings, so I don't want to change the rest of my strings to make the whole thing sound bright and new. Is there any way I can speed up the break in time for the string so it sounds like my other ones? I stretched it and everything, I just want to get rid of that bright tone on it. It sounds so out of place.
