Hey! I'm waiting on an answer like you. From what I've gathered, the Rock Brights are like the name applies, brighter with longer life. The Powerwounds are their standard nicklewound string. I also would like to know how smooth each are and their tension. Maybe somebody will help us out here!

Our Powerwound line of strings are made on a hex core using our Level wrap formula. All wraps in the Powerwound line are nickel. The Rockbright line as well are made on a hex core using the same Level wrap formula. The difference is that in the Rockbrights the under wraps are Phosphor bronze. After the first or second wrap is made we run high amounts of electric over the wrap. This welds the wraps to the core and tightens the wraps for any loose windings. Which makes for a brighter, longer lasting string. Hope this helps.
