You guys remember my being mad about getting the wrong order of SIT strings from a guitar store and being upset from this thread? S I T Power Wounds are my new favorite!
Turns out Eddie at SIT strings read that thread and is personally dealing with it. He emailed me and asked what kind of strings it is i wanted and my mailing address, as he is sending them to me for free.
Honestly guys, THIS is customer support. This is connecting with your customer on a friendly level. They have just gained a customer for life and I will recommend them to anybody looking a trusted company. I honestly am overwhelmed by the kindness and thought of this.
Thank you Eddie,
Paul Santucci. |

I was at NAMM and they were hyping that you couldn't put them out of tune. They had this pointy guitar with a Floyd Rose on it and people were doing all kinds of whammy abuse without it going out of tune. I picked it up, did one "Buddy Guy" bend and stretched the G string out of tune, handed it back, and they stopped talking to me.
Musta been 25 years ago now...

I emailed them and they said they would take care of it. They siad they have had a few bad strings of the same reported and were checking their machine ETC. I live in the city they are made and they insisted on sending it by mail...a free set. Awsome people and CS at SIT. FWIW i never cared or bought into the whole stay in tune thing. I use them cuz they are good strings and are cheap.

Do you like them?
Warm, bright, easy on the fingers, and seem to last longer than other brands for the price.
SIT will assemble "custom gauge" sets for the same price of a standard set at customers request through your local SIT dealer too.
