SIT strings

hey guys. i have a g and l l2500 and it came with sit strings on it, they have been on it for about five years now,think they need changing! only problem is i live in the uk and they dont get shipped over here. i got in touch with sit regarding this and they basically said it was my problem! if i did not like the strings so much i should use another brand, but they work for me.Any ideas as to why this is the case????tim

G&L has since switched and D'Addario XL's now come stock on the L2500. You'll need the Super Longs if you plan to go thru body. Are they readily available to you?

Usually plenty of SIT's on Ebay. Just find someone willing to ship to you and bite the bullet on the shipping.

Could also see if juststrings.com would ship to you. Hard to complain about $18 a set for 5-string sets of SIT strings.

thank you for the replies. SIT have put an order to their stores not to ship to the uk, aguilar do this also. i am not sure why. does anybody know which model sit's they would have put on my l2500????thanks again,tim
