Slightly chorusy sound from my Chromes?? What's happening?

I've got a new set of Chromes that have been on my bass for about a week and a half. Yesterday they sounded just like normal but tonight I'm getting a somewhat hollowish/chorusy sound from the A-string and slightly less from the E-string while the D and G sound normal. What could be causing this? Is this the strings settling in?

Anybody have something like this happen to you with Chromes?

Could they be twisted? Take them off and put them back on to see if it fixes the problem.

There may be a broken inner wrap.
