I gotta go with American Eagle and Skippy myself.

I found Ernie Balls to break on me a LOT, same with GHS Boomers. I'm not denouncing either, they just weren't right for my style at the time, but my style is mellowing out, so I may try them again sometime.

But so far I'm very satisfied with LaBella for quality AND customer service, and D'Addario ain't too bad either.

They sound great new, and certainly so on new EB Basses but they don't last very long and they pull the hair on my arm. They are the perfect string to put on basses....you are selling

i'm in the process of switching, i like my 5 string slinkys for the first week and then they are trash.

i play fingerslap/style mainly near the bridge and these strings just dont last. i love them when I put them on, but hate them after a week, these last ones were on for 2 weeks and I just broke the e string again last night.

going to try some cirrus 5s tonight and see how they pan out, if not, DRs will be next in line.

Awww, but I like greasing up the strings before I play! It makes the strings nice and fast!
