What difference does the amount of slinky in a string make in the sound?

yeah id like to know too, I have power slinkys because I wanted thich strings, because before I got em, I would break strings every couple days, now its been about 4 or 5 monthes and no breaks

Isn't slinky just a term EBMM use to describe their strings? It's not the name of a metal or anything.
Or do you mean to ask if thinner strings sound different from thicker ones?
