Snappy strings

hi, i used to use flat wounds on my old bass, but now ive bought a fender american jazz bass, but the strings sound so snappy, and i dont like it. Im looking for a deep smoother sounding string set, what do u thing i should do.

You'd probably be better off in the strings section, we don't know anything about them.

Try a set of Marcus Milller from DR.They have a deep smooth sound that your looking for.
