and they got here today.
20 sets of the 41 I ordered ("half" are going to my buddy's address).
Total cost after shipping for all 41 sets: ~$38.
Ridiculous. These are the strings here: http://www.samash.com/webapp/wcs/sto...tegorySA-10001
I took a picture, but it's too large for my phone to email....
Anyway, you should probably buy these. |

For comparison my favorite strings are D'Addario Chromes ECB84 (for recording), Rotosound RS66LDN (nickel) and Hartke HSB-445 (hex core nickel) and I'm happy to have found these Guitar Research strings even if they had a $20-$30 price tag.

I have a lot of basses, and to drop 30.00-50.00 strings on each of them would be crazy, so I don't. only my main 2 players gets the good stuff, but it is always nice to have new shiny strings even on a "wall hanger".
If these strings are up to the same quality as the ALICE strings, I'll be happy, and order more sets ( I got 12 sets ) for when the remaining Alice strings are gone.
for what it is worth, 11 bucks for a dozen sets is good, and if they suck and sound horrible, or rust up after 3 days, --eh who cares about the 11 bucks I just threw away ( won't be the most expensive thing I wasted money on )
