Question So who here tunes to C ?

I like to tune my 4 banger to C.

Just wondering what strings you may prefer.
And what tone you're trying to achieve.

I find anything with a heavy E and A string, like a 110-115 and a 90 will do the job.
The EB Power Slinky or the super sized GHS's are usually good for me.

What d'yall like?

I tune to C#, but I am using DR Blackbeauties and LaBella Deep Talkin' roundwounds.

I like the Deep Talkin' rounds a bit better. They feel like they are higher tension and have a bit more focus in the high end.

The DR's are a 115 on the E and the LaBella's are a 110.

Yeah - it's that high tension I dig. Kinda hard to find the perfect set of strings to get decent tension down in C.
I may just try the LaBella's at one point, but for now I'll stick with roundies.
I just love having a brutal mid. With dirt. And fuzz.

Anyone else?

Elites stadium series 110 --> drop C
Same for 5-string but with 130 tuned to A + the rest same as 4-string it get's the job done.
Maybe I'll try GHS 115's in the near future...

I sometimes tune my 4 string ADGC... if that counts for anything! It never works very well though...
