hey. does anybody use rotosounds solo bass 55's?

i've just put rotosound 66's on my 5 string mexican jazz bass and i'm getting a very nice sound however the strings are very sticky and rough. i had the original strings that fender supplied and they were very nice. but they became dead. so i swapped out for rotosounds because i have heard they are good strings. but the stickyness is terrible. so maybe some pressurewound strings would be the answer.

anyone playing them?

I would try the 66s a bit longer, they will become smoother after a while, also your fingers will tough up.
