I did get a bunk set a couple of weeks ago, but they replaced them no problem. One more reason to buy their strings.

I've had NO issues w/ 'em either. Apart from their almost non-existence from any local stores that is..... :-(

I've actually switched from DR High Beams to Sadowsky because of a few bunk sets I got from them. They were bought at GC so I didn't totally blame DR but it gave me enough reason to go try out some new sets and Sadowsky does it for me. DR does make great strings and I know that what I experienced is rare but after 2 times I figured it was time to move on. This was like 2 years ago though so I'm guessing this is a new issue other than the one I had with them.

Great rumor to start a thread but no worries here, ever, with DR.

I love DRs but my tech says that they are the most inconsistent string (gauges) he knows of, but i'm still using them!

well, i'm using loRiders on my 4 string and my 5 string. its weird, the E strings look like different guages, but when you play them they are the same... must be my imagination.

Both sets are relativly new so i don't see any problems.... but what do i know. lol

I haven't had any bad experiences in just over 2 years. They are very consistent IMO.

I'm another one that can never find the nickel ones at GC. One guy even told me that DR doesn't make nickel Lo-Riders.

Finally, a question! I was beginning to wonder about the purpose of this thread. Answer: "no".

What - exactly - are these alleged "issues" to which you so cryptically refer? What precisely is supposed to be the nature of the problem(s), according to this hearsay innuendo you've just passed along?

I've had less problems with DR than GC, that's for sure.
