Are stainless steel strings bad for frets?

If you play aggressively they can wear frets down faster than nickel. To me it is worth it. I have a vintage 4001 and I use Rotos and Blue Steels exclusively. If I end up needing a refret, I will use SS frets.

Stainless Steel will cause frets to wear more quickly. I use nickel because I find stainless to be too bright.
