Standard metal flat B string that sounds closest to black nylon flat B? SOLVED !!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have La Bella black nylon strings on my Turner 5 fretless that has RMC piezos. All of the strings sound good except the B string which is just MUD

I am thinking of replacing the B string with another brand [ most likely non-nylon] to get some clarity on the B. It would need to be flat of course and would just need to sound close tone wise as I can adjust my attack to compensate some.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

SOLVED Tried an old tired TI Acousticore B string. Some what dead but it is roundwound so it is a nice full B
