Star Bass 5/149 restoration.

New to the site but I need some input on the proper strings for a Framus Star Bass model 5/149 built in 1956. I am making a new headstock and bridge but I don't know what strings to use. If anyone can steer me in the right direction I would be grateful. Thanks, Jim
