Steel Strings That Wont Chew Up my Fingers?

D'Addario ProSteels aren't too coarse. They're about medium feeling and they have a aggressive tight sound.

I've got some D'addario's on my CS Jazz and they're sounding good.. I'm thinking they may not last as long as the DR's do, but I'm doing all I can (alcohol wipes after each play, etc..) to stretch their life.. If I can get two to three solid weeks of (1 hours/day) quality sound from them, I'll be happy..
