Steinberger Spirit: How do I change strings?

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, perhaps I'm missing something, but I don't really see how to change the strings on my steiny.

Do I need to remove the bridge?

Sorry for the dumb question...I'm haven't even ordered a second set just yet, but incase I break one and have to get some in a hurry I wanna be sure I can change them.

Thanks!

Aren't those the double ball ends? Shouldn't you be able to just loosed the tuners all the way and have the string fall out?

Well found the link, with PICTURES! Hope this helps. Oh, duh, stupid java, you'll have to actually click the "ReString" link. And, yes I was right, loosen tuners till you can see the ball and remove it, then remove the ball from the head.

LOL, bout time you can actually live up to your name now. Enjoy the snow, I will.
