Did a search, but most responses seemed related to tension-I'm actually looking for strings that are not necessarily high tension, but that are stiff. I understand hex core tends to be stiffer than roundcore strings, but beyond that, any recommedations for a brand of strings that are extremely stiff? Again, not tension related. Weird question I know... O.o |

I've never played them, so I can't comment on their tone. My Fodera Heavies were surprisingly unforgiving as well, but from the sounds of it, they still don't hold a candle to Rotos.

Weird question I know... O.o | Keep in mind that many people simply don't understand that when they say "higher tension" they actually mean "stiffer", in regards to strings anyhow.

I could give two flips about the physics behind a materials elasticity and flexibility.
