Stingray Classic - String Length

Since the Classic ships with regular length Super Slinkys I assume there is no need to buy extra long strings for going through the body at the bridge. Anyone run into any issues with string lengths of other manufacturers?

Not with a Classic, but D'Addario long-scale strings didn't work on my pre-EB StingRays after about 1990. I needed to special order extra-long strings from them.
