Stock strings on a Squier P

Hi guys! Getting my new (and first) Squier Precision in a few days, and was wondering if anyone knows what kind of strings it might have? Are they good enough, og should I be thinking of replacing them once I get it?

Playing rock/punk style with a pick. Are there any string you would recommend for a P especially? Also play Drop D (if that even makes a difference).

Replace the OEM strings IMMEDIATELY ! String preference is just that, preference .
I personally play Rotosound Steve Harris series Flats. Drop D no prob. I would suggest getting several different kinds/brands of strings and try them out. If you take them off with a little care,,, you can always put them back on.
