Strange Strings

Sign in to disble this ad
I just bought bass strings 45/60/80/100, but on the bags strings are marked like this : 1st - E, 2-nd D, 3-rd G, 4-th D. What does that mean? I have to tune them like this?

The gauges you state are pretty much standard (EADG tuning) for long scale strings. Ddi you buy them as a set? what brand are they? You haven't got strings for another instrument mixed up in there have you?

The brand is Champ, haven't heard it before, I get it very cheap. It is a set, which is packed and there is a sign Bass Guitar Strings. and the sizes 45/60/80/100.
