String change

My Fender P Am Std needs new strings. I have a set of DR Peacock Blues I'd like to put on her, but not sure if she'll need a new setup after, ie neck tweek, intonation. I'm going from Super Bass 8250M NPS to the DR's. Am I ok to just slap the new ones on and let'er rip?

Fender 8250's have a (Taperwound E string), the E string might require some set-up adjustment intonation/ action.
