I am - clean strings are one of my obsessions. Boiling, rubbing alcohol, fast fret..... I hope this product delvers!

Use some "ZIPPO" lighter fluid......
Takes off all the peanut-butter....
Run it up-and-down the string on the corner of a wash cloth on each string.
Cheap Too!

I like it .

Price? I know, if I have to ask, I can't afford it .

"Just 2 payments of $19.95 (plus shipping and handling)"

Just buy some microfiber and use that. Cheaper than that gimmick. Just as easy to use.

A fiend of mine sells the Shamwow and gave me a couple packages. So far my life hasn't changed much. I doubt this device will do anything for me either.

I've been using a regular one on my strings, except for my 6er!

Seems to be pretty good, I definatly notice the difference. My fingers do too.

I don't understand this product...
Unprecedented 360 degrees of string cleaning action?

Save yourself the 12.99 plus shipping (actually, probably more for the bass version...)
Step 1) Get the microfiber cloth you must already have if you are a string cleaning nut
Step 2) Place over hand
Step 3) Slide hand under strings (loosen strings if necessary)
Step 4) Wrap thumb over top of strings. This will give you unprecedented 360 degree coverage
Step 5) Clean the strings

Or, if you just have to spend some money:

Get the little alcohol pads that nurses use on your arm before they give you a shot. You wrap it around the string, run up and down it a few times slowly, wow you are done!

Yep, my wife is a nurse!

Looks like a waste of money to me. Honestly, I can't see any way that taking a couple of swipes along the string with their whoopee-doopee pad would anything that you couldn't do MUCH BETTER and much more effectively yourself with a cloth and a solvent of your choice.

But to me, cleaning strings it a waste of effort - play 'em until they break, and hopefully that will take 30 or 40 years.
