It seems like a better idea for guitar. Those skinny little guitar strings are harder to deal with. It's a lot easier to grab bass string and wipe it down.

Well if you guys all had Snuggies, you would be able to clean your bass strings, answer the phone, AND work the remote control...all with a smile on your face!
