Question String duration problem

Sign in to disble this ad
Do I slap too hard or what????
This is how it goes: I played on GHS nickleplated steel strings for 6 months and then G string popped . Then I bought fender strings (nps also) and the G string popped after a week and a half . Last strings I used was Dean Markleys roundcore strings (nps) and the G string lasted for three weeks or something like that .
So the question is do I pop the G string too hard or what???
How long do yours strings last?
