Put some new strings on the night before i had rehearsals, went rehearsals for a few hours.

At the end, i untuned the a string to adjust the bridge, tuned it back up (now rattling now). Packed up, come home, left it in my softcase over night, took it out and played it this afternoon, and the a strings seems a lot duller than the others, why is this ?

did you by any chance twist the string as you put it on? that's a pretty common cause of premature deadness. if you wrap the string around the post with your hand, it's very easy to cause the string to twist. take it off and restring it, being very careful not to twist it, and see if that helps.
