String guage problems?

Okay - through a strange chain of events, I have a show tonight and my 5-stringer is wearing guages .45-.55-.90-.110-.135 (emergency change required me to get creative). I am tuned A-E-A-D-G. Am I looking at trouble if I leave this particular Franken-set on there long-term? Thanks!

If you have adjusted your neck tension, intonated it, and set the string height to your liking you are good to go. It is a pretty heavy set up I'll admit, but if your bass is well made I see no reason why it shouldn't handle it in the long run.

Agree with the above. As long as it is set up, or will be set up for this arrangement you should be fine.

Cool. It is not my intention to play with this sort of funky string-set more than this once, but as I didn't have a choice I figured I may as well use them if I can. I usually run .45, .65, .85, .110, .130, so my next set will be back to normal
