String length frustrations

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got some shortscale chromes for my rogue beatle bass, and theyre too short i had to special order em from a local shop, and they were cheaper than the Labellas, so i guess im paying for it now.
Does anyone know if its possible to return strings? And can anyone sugggest some strings, and if i should just break down and get the labellas?

Do you have your receipt? Maybe they will take them back. Usually, if strings are opened, stores won't take them back.

You can sell them here on Talk Bass.

You need medium scale strings. The trapeze bridge on your Rogue makes your bass need 32" strings. You are probably the millionth person to find this out the hard way.

The La Bella Hofner set is great on those Beatle basses. Worth the money if you are thinking flats.
