sorry. no harm no foul? | No worries  Most "lube" products are designed to clean your strings while leaving them with a "fast" kind of feeling. Imagine if you could what it would feel like of wiped your strings down with a thin layer of WD40 (obviously WD40 isnt good for wood, but you get the point right??) |

I usually spray the fret board down, then wipe the strings and board down with it. I am thinking there has to be a good lube product that "cleans" the board and strings that is not an aerosol.

If my memory serves me I think part of why I stopped using it was that it felt more "wet" and I didn't really like that. One of the guitarists in my band has some in his junk bag so I will definitely try it out tomorrow and report back. I really use it more for the cleaning the oils off the strings.

I've had the exact same bottle of formby's lemon oil for about 4 years now.
