Which string manufacturer uses black end rings???

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi gang

I bought a used bass that really sounds awesome. It was roundwound strings with pink silk at top and bottom with black end rings. Not the usual brass end rings or multicolored like D'Addario, but black.

Any help with identification is appreciated!!

The only strings I've seen so far with black ends are Darco strings, but they don't have the silk on the ends. Maybe some variation of those or some other type of Martin strings?

I know the dean markley blue steel I had used black blue ends. However the silk was a grayish white.
