Ok I need a new set of 5er's.
I had the Warwick yellow label 25-105 (high C) and well they were way to bright for my tastes.

Can anyone suggest another brand thats not so damn bright.
I still prefer High C since I never used the low B.

These will go on a 1993 Ibanez EXB-445 (EMG select single coils)
I dont have a lot of money so please dont offer up a 1,000 dollar set of strings

Thanks for any and all help.

DR Sunbeams!!! They are a very nice set of strings, bright, but not overly bright, fat low end but articulate.

GHS does a 5 string set with a High C (5M-C-DYB).

I used them a while back and they sound pretty good. I would say they are not "overly bright" and are affordable.

I don't know if they make them with a High C but D'Addario half rounds are a pretty "in between" way to go. You can get in touch with them and they might do it. They were always very cool with me.
Are you happy with the gauge? Are all the strings bright, or do the high strings bother you more? Seems like the Warwicks might be a light top/med bottom... or maybe not.

All the strings are bright, and I'm talking sunny day bright.

I'll shop around and check out everyones suggestions when I get the dough.

I hate being jobless.

My experience with Yellow Labels is if you play them for 2 weeks they're not bright at all.
