Any suggestions for 5 string flatwounds- Ive never used Flatwounds.

I also just got an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string fretless, and was hoping for some suggestions on fretless strings, dont know anything about what to throw on a fretless either.

Thank you!

Stainless medium light gauge. Rotos(RS77's) or Fenders(9050's). I'm really starting to like the sounds I can wring out of them on my basses. I can go fairly bright to deeply dark and muddy. Comfy too!

I have used both D'Addario Chromes and GHS Precision Flats on my 5 string fretless with good results (you will have to order the B seperately for the GHS set). I keep hearing good things about the TIs. You may want to give them a try as well.

La Bella flats are available in 5 string sets. Something to note, even though the sets are available in different gauges, the B string is always .128". Plus, it's taperwound (EADG strings are not).
