Ok guys... My EBMM Hybrids are dead and it's time to look for some new strings. Needing some help!
1) Am I imagining things when I use heavier gauges and can get my action lower? (Tighter vibration arc? Tension keeps my right hand under control?) Thinking I wanna go heavys regardless of the answer to this.. I do all my own set ups.
2) I use a 3eq H Stingray. Any other Stingray owners have a particular brand that really brings out the character in this instrument? I'm curious about Heavy Steels...
3) I play primarily fingerstyle, but I also slap and chord frequently. I rarely use a pick.. usually only to experiment. I'm slightly heavy handed on the right hand.
Any takers willing to help me out on picking my next set?
