Looking for string suggestions for a 2008 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass V that I have on the way. Looking for something that can be strung through the body. Not real excited about Fender strings but if you guys say that the best thing for it then so be it. More of DR kind of guy. Any thoughts would be helpful.

*I was thinking maybe Long Necks. Anyone tried them?

Mine is strung through-body with D'Addario XL Nickelwounds, just the standard length ones, and they work fine. I'm thinking you could use whatever you wanted. |
