Question String Tension

Does anyone have any idea what the string tension in pounds for Ernie Ball Power Slinky 4-strings?

You will need to come by their unit weights - weight in pounds per inch - in order to calculate their specific tension.

That said, the D'Addario tension chart is pretty comprehensive and will be within a pound or two of any other manufacturer. Even if you have specific data on the EB stuff it will vary slightly as it is an average calculation.

^ Yeah - I just use the D'Addario string tension chart ... it's pretty close.

Thanks for the help. I got it figured out using D'Addario. I am going from those power slinky's to some lighter gauge strings and i wanted to know how much tension i would lose.
